Eggs and hatching

Hatch at a Hatchinator, then read the shell as a lead. Alpha and named Elite eggs make a narrow promise. Biome eggs do not publish a full species list on this site.

How hatching works

Outpost Hatchinators and the Homeland Hatchinator both take eggs. Most records list both; a few special eggs say Outpost only, so read the item before you carry it home.

Incubation is a real-time timer. When it hits zero the slot shows ready — that is not the same as claimed. You still confirm an Aniipod, pet through the reveal, and press Claim.

The hatch flow asks you to pick an Aniipod. Ultra and Sparkling Cube guarantees in the item catalogue are written for wild catches. Use any ordinary pod for a hatch and keep those two for the field.

  1. 01

    Open a Hatchinator

Homeland or Outpost. Check the egg text if it names one.

  2. 02

    Place the egg

Read element and quality labels before you commit a scarce guaranteed egg.

  3. 03

    Wait out the timer

A finished slot is marked ready. Missing the popup does not ruin the egg.

  4. 04

    Confirm and Claim

Select the ready egg, confirm the Aniipod, pet the reveal, then Claim. Details is optional before Claim.

Alpha, Elite, and named eggs

What the item record really promises. A worked example of “How hatching works”, not a new plan.

The Alpha Egg record makes the narrowest useful promise: it is a key item whose description identifies a guaranteed Alpha trait. The Elite Emberpup Egg is also specific, naming Emberpup and an Elite-potential-or-higher result. Those labels can guide a collection decision because the promise is attached to a particular stored record.

Elite Egg is broader, while Beach, Forest, Grassland, and Blossom Egg records mostly confirm that a mysterious life stirs inside. A biome-like name may be a good route clue, but it is not enough to publish a guaranteed species list. Likewise, the Custom Egg Box categories—BREAK, DPS, Heal, REGEN, Support, and Legendary—should be read from their exact item descriptions rather than merged into one universal hatch rule.

Dreamy Egg and Egg Gifted from Flowers carry unusual acquisition leads in their records: Dreamy Egg refers to an Incredible mutation during breeding, while Egg Gifted from Flowers begins with an offering of ten colors. Those are leads worth recognizing, not permission to fill in missing quantities, timing, or outcome tables.

What the shell can promise

Alpha Egg’s stored text points at a guaranteed Alpha trait. Elite Emberpup Egg names Emberpup and Elite-or-better potential. Those are usable leads because the promise is attached to a specific record.

Elite Egg is broader. Beach, Forest, Grassland, and Blossom eggs mostly confirm that something is inside. Treat biome names as route clues, not as a published hatch table.

Custom Egg Boxes that name BREAK, DPS, Heal, Regen, or Support should be read from that box’s description. Dreamy Egg points at a breeding mutation; Egg Gifted from Flowers starts with a ten-color offering. Both are acquisition leads, not complete odds.

Map

Where to look for eggs

Eggs show up from Stella showers, role-tuned boxes, Institute gifts, Egg Heist, RV dispatches, events, and rare breeding mutations. Most of the useful ones can be aimed at; a few are luck.

On the atlas, pick one label. Breezy Plains currently stores 60 Elite Egg points. Running every layer at once is not a route.

Pair the egg layer with a creature or material you already wanted. Then a miss is still a useful walk. Collection and materials are the usual partners.

  1. 01

    Pick one egg label

Alpha, Elite, or a named family egg — not every icon.

  2. 02

    Add a normal field goal

A habitat, chest line, or material shortfall in the same region.

  3. 03

    Record what hatched

Keep the confirmed result. Leave unpublished pools unpublished.

  4. 04

    Choose the next collection question

A form, a family branch, or another map layer.

The current Breezy Plains atlas contains 60 Elite Egg, 22 Highland Egg, 14 Alpha Egg, 11 Forest Egg, 11 Grassland Egg, and 9 Blossom Egg points. It also carries single records for Baleetle Egg, Egg of Prayers, Elite Emberpup Egg, Gift of the Branch, and Incredible Grassland Egg. That breadth makes Breezy Plains the better place to learn egg layers on the map, but it also makes an ‘all eggs’ route impractical.

For Elite Egg, start with one sub-area rather than all sixty points. Echoback Landing, Nimbus Field, and Rosetower each carry seven in the current snapshot; Sea of Flowers has six and Driftwise Meadow five. Alpha Egg points are spread broadly, so turn off other egg layers and pair the hunt with a creature, chest, or material objective in the same region.

Whisperwake Isles is a much smaller check in the current atlas: six Elite Egg points and one Alpha Egg point. That can be useful when you already plan to visit the archipelago. It is not evidence that the region has better rates—the count only tells you how many points the stored map currently exposes.

What this page does not guess

This site does not publish hatch percentages for generic biome eggs. An absent pool in the catalogue means unknown, not empty.

When the live Hatchinator or Egg Handbook shows a condition, that screen outranks an older note. Update the plan from what you see.

Sparkling Cube is a wild-catch device. It does not apply Cube odds to a hatch.

Questions

Quick answers

Can I hatch at both Outpost and Homeland Hatchinators?

Yes for most eggs. Some special eggs name an Outpost. Read the item’s use text before you take it home.

Why is a ready egg still in the machine?

The timer ending is not Claim. Select the ready slot, confirm an Aniipod, pet the reveal, and press Claim.

Does the Aniipod I pick change the hatch?

The flow asks for a pod, but Ultra and Sparkling Cube guarantees are written for wild catches. Use an ordinary pod and keep the expensive ones for the field.

Does an Alpha Egg always hatch an Alpha?

The stored Alpha Egg text points at a guaranteed Alpha trait. Confirm the current item description before you spend one.
